On April 21st, the Filmax Gran Vía Cinemas in Barcelona celebrated their Tim Burton Event Vol. 2 in style, with the presence of the well-known voice actor Luis Posada. As the Official Johnny Depp Fans Club, we were invited and were able to enjoy the reunion. Previously, we had the honor of interviewing him and chatting with him about his professional career and his experience as the regular dubbing actor for Johnny Depp in Spain. Luis Posada, whose voice is recognizable to all Spanish film enthusiasts, has been behind great actors like Leonardo DiCaprio, John Cusack, Adrien Brody, Jim Carrey, and Owen Wilson. His long career as a dubbing actor has made Luis Posada one of the most influential figures in the world of dubbing.
Fans who attended the event were able to enjoy chatting with Luis, asking questions, taking photos with the actor, and even taking home an autographed print.
The event, based on the works of director Tim Burton, screened the movies Edward Scissorhands and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street in its Barcelona cinemas. Additionally, the event included thematic stands and a gift raffle for the attendees. This is the second Tim Burton event organized by Cines Filmax Gran Vía, with resounding success.
