On July 14th, the Filmax Gran Vía Cinemas in Barcelona celebrated their Tim Burton Event Vol. 3 in grand style, with the presence of Deep Roy. We, as the Official Johnny Depp Fan Club, were invited and had the pleasure of enjoying this incredible day alongside the actor.
Deep Roy, known for his countless roles in various films, shared his experience working with Johnny in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory during a Q&A session with the fans. In the film, he portrayed an entire army of Oompa Loompas, each of which he had to bring to life one by one, over months of long production days. Additionally, he signed autographs for the fans and took photos with them at the photocall.
Deep Roy has been involved in major Hollywood productions such as The Grinch, The NeverEnding Story, Big Fish, and Planet of the Apes.
The event, based on the works of director Tim Burton, screened Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at its Barcelona cinemas. Attendees were also able to enjoy themed stands and a golden ticket raffle. This is the third Tim Burton event organized by the Filmax Gran Vía Cinemas, with resounding success. At their previous edition, to which we also had the honor of being invited, we were able to chat once again with our now well-known friend Luis Posada, Johnny Depp’s usual voice actor in Spain.
