Portraits of friends, heroes and family; all created by Johnny with the intention of sharing and showing them to the world in an innovative way: through NFTs. First of all, NFTs are digital documents with metadata that guarantee the authenticity of the virtual piece.
Johnny has wanted to show us his creations with his own unique style, showing us the face of the most significant and important people in his life who have had a certain impact in it, and who he desires to represent through painting to transmit that influence to us.
Among many of the portraits that have been released, we were able to distinguish well-known faces, for example: Al Pacino, Heath Ledger, his daughter Lily-Rose, River Phoenix, Hunter S. Thompson, Tim Burton, Elizabeth Taylor, Marlon Brando and even himself.
Johnny has also wanted to share with us the portrait of his dog Mooh, who passed away some time ago and to whom he wanted to pay tribute by painting him. In one of the audios shared through one of the channels of the Discord server of “Never Fear Truth”, Johnny told us how much the painting helped him to cope with the loss of his best friend.

However, there’s a painting that Johnny has wanted to keep in the dark and it’s a mystery for us. We know what it is and what it means, but we’ve only been able to see silhouettes of this figure that Johnny has wanted to represent. It’s called “The Bunny Man” and according to what Johnny has told us, it’s an inspiration of a drawing that his son Jack made when he was about 5 years old.

We all know that Johnny has always been and is a close, affectionate and understanding person… and he has wanted to interact even more with us since he decided to join Instagram on April 2020. Since that moment, we’ve felt Johnny much closer. Suddenly, on January 2022, he wanted to go to the next level and create a community in which we can interact with him in a much more familiar and direct way. He decided to use the platform of Discord, an app that allows the possibility of chatting with different people, sending direct messages, having video calls and voice chats among many other purposes.
The server, called “Never Fear Truth”, is divided in different channels with distinct objectives, for example:
INFORMATION
- Announcements: channel in which we can catch up with any news or updates mostly related to the promotion of NFTs.
HOLDERS
- Music, Literature, Film, “Blank Canvas”: none of these channels have been opened yet.
“FRIENDS & HEROES”
- Art Chat: channel in which we can share our artistic creations and observe others.
COMMUNITY
- Depp Chat: channel in which all the Johnny Depp followers can get in and talk to people from all around the world that are in the server about topics such as his movies, his art, his music, etc.
“WONDERLAND”
- Memes: channel in which we can share our most funny memes and have a good time looking at others.
HELP
- Support: channel in which we can consult and share any problem that we might have had with the server or another channel.
VOICE CHANNELS
- JD Fan Chat: channel in which we can talk and listen to other people.
INTERNATIONAL
- Spanish: channel in which we can chat with other people that speak our same language.
One example of every channel has been chosen to explain the closest function of each one, in the server we can find much more.
The channels and chats mentioned may be subject to future changes made by the staff of “Never Fear Truth”.
To finish, there are different roles in the server, and these are:
- Bunny Man: Johnny Depp.
- Friends: creative collaborators of the community.
- Depputies: guardians of the community.
- Collectors: verified owners of all 11 subjects of the “Never Fear Truth” NFTs.
- Holders: verified owners with entitlements to airdrops when appropriate and/or priority access to mints.
- Deppheads: people that show real love for the project with more access rights to future drops or collabs.
- Humans: every member who verified and passed the “Human” test.
- Ghosts: valued members that have their own channel and other benefits.
- Shadows: members that were present before the reveal of what the project was about or that have participated with success in the community.
(These two last roles have been archived in the channel, they’re still active but aren’t currently in use for utility or promotion).
The roles mentioned may be subject to future changes made by the staff of “Never Fear Truth”.
This server has moderators as well that control the channels and make sure that respect and manners are above everything else. These moderators also announce us of any news.
CONCEPT
The concept of “Never Fear Truth” was born as a result of the importance and the significance that the truth has for Johnny. In the last years, since the court battle with his ex-wife Amber Heard began, the truth has been above everything else and it’s the most important and fundamental thing to Johnny.
